we had our first hard freeze this morning...
maybe it will get rid of the skeeters...
and the allergens....
I'm not big on cold weather...
good thing I live in Texas...
we bounce back and forth a lot...
gonna be close to 80 this weekend..
Thanksgiving is just around the corner...
we will have 2 this year...
Get to have one with my Dad and step Mom...
then one with the family...
it's not at our house this year...
which will be a change...
My son and DIL are hosting this year...
Change can be good...
yesterday Hotrod told me...
"Oma you are getting smaller and smaller"
well I guess Paleo is paying off...
I had to give him a big hug and kiss for that....
My niece will turn 3 this week...
time sure does fly by....
we have a lot of November birthdays in the family...
One month from today...
my son will be 30...
how can that be???
I mean wasn't I 30 just yesterday....

well, my nose has been running non-stop today - but i think it is from the chill and not allergens. :)
the sun feels good, though.
It seems like these days that my kids birthdays are harder for me to take than my own....how can I possibly have a child over 40?
I say GET RID of the allergens! YUK. We are having cold temps today...25 degrees...our first REAL cold snap. It feels bone chilling as I am unaccustomed to the temp!

i had no idea you were 30, i was sure you just turned 25.. LOL... we are cold but ours is 61 which is cold enough for me....
Awesome to have two celebrations of Thanksgiving and they are not at your house. Sweet comment from Hotrod and way to go! Eating healthy is the best, can't believe we have fallen for all the crap over the years. Lovely photos.
I sure know that feeling!! How can my kids be that old!! How can my Mom be that old!!!
oh I understand too it seems I was that age. My son turned 50 and my daughter will be 50 in two years. Then my youngest I feel sorry for him.
He is only 42 my baby.
Oh well that is what happens when you get pregnant at late 30's.
You go to the docotor. Oh no. You sure I am Doc. Then hubby has a big smile. Did I do that.
