It was a beautiful Saturday....
I got to spend some time with my Mom...
we went to a Farmers Market....
did a grocery run....
then I came home and spent some time in the garden....
I love getting my hands in the dirt....
and there is always plenty to do...
Hubby bought a new lawn mower a few weeks ago...
today I got a chance to try it out...
it is a really self propelled...
way better than our old one....
I even managed to get in a little nap today....
My son and DIL have taken Stringbean...
on his first Camping trip....tent camping....
we will join up with them tomorrow...
for a family lake day....
I'm ready to do some fishing...
My Mom...Dad and step Mom are coming also...
my roses are doing great...
which is really exciting to me...
I haven't had great luck with roses...
I have planted so many bushes...
that never seemed to do anything...
I am so excited that our April Showers...
are truly bringing May flowers...
I also have blooms on my cucumbers...and zucchini plants...
can't wait....
now off to bed...
early to bed...early to rise....
the early bird gets the worm...
hopefully the fish too...

Oh this was just the perfect springtime post! Yay for camping and blossoms! I love getting my hands in the dirt too but I had just been sitting here thinking how bad my nails and cuticles look because of it.
I have small plants, but no sprouts just yet!
Is that 2nd little plump bird with the strips an ibis?
