taking it easy...not so easy....

I have found that I have a hard time
taking it easy when I really need to....

I can take it easy on a normal day....
but when I'm sick....
I have a hard time...
all I can think is I don't want to feel bad...
I want to be doing....

so I over did... and now I wish I hadn't....

so now...I'm taking it easy...
want to be back to normal....

I did take a few photos today....
but these are from a walk the other day....
Tomorrow is Sunday...
the day of rest....and that is what I intend to do...
what are your Sunday plans?

We had a day and a half with friends at the lake...Sunday, church and then lunch with our daughter and granddaughter as their men are at a Lacrosse tournament... happy rest day!

I was you yesterday! My batteries finally ran down and I had to start on meds for sinus infection (that keeps lingering on) and did nothing but lay around and drank lots of liquids. Today I feel much better and plan to get some things done.

God Bless and have a great Sunday!

Coffee with a friend later is my only firm plan for the day.
Take care of yourself and get better.

You-must-stop-having-this-problem! When you know you need rest, you must do so. No more, hiding behind how you have a hard time doing this!

"Auntie" sezzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

And now "Auntie" is gonna' say something else, which only "Auntie" could get away with, saying to you.

You are not "olden"! But you are not as young as you used to be. And at this time of mid-life, it's wise to learn to know this. Learn to stop kidding yourself, that you STILL can do all that you used to do and in the same way as you used to do it.

Tough Love I know.

And that's why only "Auntie" could say it to you. :-))))))))))) Anyone else saying it, would get a BIG TX BRUSH-OFF.

But I know, you won't give your "Auntie" a BIG TX BRUSH-OFF. Pretty sure of myself, aren't I? ,-) Yes Ma'am, I am. :-)

Hugs, hugs, hugs, hugs, hugs...

My brain always kicks into high gear when I'm sick, thinking of all the things I wish I could do.
Hope you can get some R&R.

Hope Monday morning finds you back to your energetic self! It is hard to slow down......even when you can't go at your normal pace. Your 'slow' pace exceeds some of our 'high energy' ones!!

I sure hope you are feeling much better by now, Deb! And, I hope you get some relief from the heat. I think I will be suffering when I return home. It is a high in the 80s here. blessings ~ tanna
