What do you think???

What do you think???
of weathered wood????
I love looking at the details...
and wonder what caused the
cracks and crevices to form...
was it the weather?
was it an animal or bug?

The last one looks like an elephant's eye! Very interesting! Have a great day, Deb!

That is one of the things about wood I love so much. I saw a gardening special on Gardening by the Yard on HGTV where the garden was designed around stumps. It was called a stumpery and if I had the space, I would do it. It is so beautiful. Great pictures!!

I love such photos too. They make almost-like-photo-art. :-)

All things combined. So interesting. The stories those trees could tell.
