look at this cool bag my Mom made me...
to keep my clothes pens in....
it works great ....you just slide it along with you...
she made it from a scrap of material she had...
a hook off of an old shower curtain...
and a clothes hanger...
see what can be made from things you have on hand...
and a little imagination...
tomorrow is Earth day....
a celebration of our Earth...
now that is a day worth celebrating...
little things make a big difference....
tomorrow I'm doing a post on a few things I've been doing...
to make a difference...
I'm not an extremist...
but I do feel like we can all do our part...
Happy Saturday....
have you smiled today?
: )

Love the clothes pin bag!!! Now THAT one looks like it'll work!!!
I miss my clothesline- I loved the smell - no fabric softener could ever match!
your mom is so talented, this is great for the earth and for you. yes i am smiling. this morning at Walmart, the man in front of me put the divider thingy in back of his groceries. i smiled and thanked him. he then proceed to put all my groceries from my basket up on the counter. actually i found, i have already been smiling, i go to smile and have already done it. recycled frowns
I love the clothes pin bag. I remember similiar ones from the "old days" made of ticking...it seems like there was one hanging from every clothesline.
Precious!!! And a bright spot, too.
Yes, we all can do more than we usually do. What we need is some inspiration, now and then.
THANK YOU for giving us, this needed inspiration.
It's just so *easy,* to keep going along in old ruts. -sigh-
Happy Earth Day!!!
we'd make our clothes pin keeper out of an old vinegar or bleach jug. cut a hole in the upper front for hands and clothes pins. cut an inch notch/hole out of the back handle so it could hang on the line. :)
Your clothes pin bag made me smile! Your mom can do anything!! I am going to be in town this week and hope I can talk her into going to the movies with me!
What a great bag. I can just imagine the smell of laundry that has dried on a clothline!
I have one that is similar. Such a great gadget!
cute bag... I need one... I took mine to Yuma (I NEVER use the dryer down there...so I need my pins!!)...now I have to take a handful of clothespins in my basket...will have to get to it and make myself one soon!
Love this and had one that my mother had... not sure where it is now, but remember how hand it was. Looks like your mom and my mom had the same "recipe" for clothes pin hangers. LOL
How cool is that! I need something like that!
