little britches likes to be called Hotrod now....
he get's such a big kick out of me calling him...
Hotrod...
he is having a little fun with his Aunt...
in his Fort...
nothing like a few quilts...pillows...
chairs and a card table.....
he is boy through and through...
a little sprinkler fun....
kids are a lot tougher than we are...
that water was cold to me....
first experience with paint...
I don't know if him or the paper got the most paint...
side walk chalk...a great investment....
I think my daughter and I enjoy it more than he does...
but he is starting to draw more....
of course a tennis ball is a big hit around here...
with "Hotrod"....Rooster...Ginger...and Nolan...
Jake is the only one that could care less about a ball...
it is never a dull moment...
with a grandson...3 dogs...and a granddog...
some days it is more like a 3 ring circus...
trying to keep all of them where they should be....
doing what they should be doing...

as i started to type i spied the two ethe two men in a swing on the side bar, love that shot. and now i see the up close proof of chalk dust on the little britches. i am sure you fall exhausted into bed each night, just looking at and reading about all this tires me out. kids have always loved making tents, and i love the tent quilt, really beautiful. my boys loved putting a blanket over their twin beds and getting under it.
I don't know how you get any work done with all that boy activity going on....but having fun is way more important than working any day.
The last picture of that blonde hair and ready to throw the ball, I would frame that! So darn cute!

Another fun day with Little Britches- he is too cute! The water sprinkler is always a hit with my grands.
Hotrod sure has his days fulled with fun! To be young again.....
