Lucky Friday the 13th...

 

30 years ago today.....

30 years.....how is that possible????

this bundle of joy was born....

he was an easy baby....

sweet...cuddly....

he refused to take a bottle....

I remember one day my Mom tried to give him one....

thinking if it was someone else he would take it...

well he drank a bit...then threw it up on her...

he was definitely a Momma's boy when he was small...

Hubby worked long hours those days...

when he was 3 or 4 he became Daddy's pal...

fishing...hunting...stomping threw the woods...

He loved going to his Nanny's house...

the tire swing..playing in the dirt...

sitting on the swing listening to stories she made up...

she called him Captain....

they baked cookies together...sang songs...

he was a good big brother...

always looking after his little sister...

even though that was not an easy task...

she would tell him "you are not my Daddy"

but inside she knew she was lucky to have him...

He is a lover of music...

plays the guitar...drums...writes songs...sings...

He is a lover of the outdoors...

hunting...bow hunting...fishing...

for food...never for sport...

A hard worker...

even though his Dad doesn't always see it that way...lol

we get compliments from our customers all the time...

he is a loving husband and Daddy....

my son is a country boy...

even though he was raised in the city...

he is a gentlemen...

We are so proud of the man he has become...

Happy 30th Birthday...

We love ya Man!!!

This is why the 13th is a lucky day for me....
