cheep cheep...
or quack quack...
not sure if it's a chicken or a duck...

Rooster is making sure everyone is playing fairly...
he is not only border patrol...
he is also play ground monitor...

I bought 12 clear saucers for $1.49...
was so excited...
brought them home...washed them...
they have a cloudy look...
that doesn't wash off...
even soaked them in bleach...
so I decided to use them for crafts...
pulled out a old cup...a few stones...
now it is a bird feeder...

Hotrod loves to play with playdoh...
Pawpaw and Hotrod mixed all the colors up...
in the past this would have bothered me...
but really...what difference does it make??
plus look at the cool cars...

this is Hotrods carwash for his cars...
so love his imagination....
I asked him what he was doing behind the curtain....
it's my car wash Oma...
warm day in Texas today....
got the swimming pool out...
Hotrod is turning into a fish....
kids are a lot tougher than grownups...
that water is cold....

Cute stuff! What a great way to use the saucers! Your little guy has a great imagination, love it! And I hear you about the cold water, yikes, these kids could care less! I like a tad bit warm!

The bird feeder was a great idea. I may have to do something like that.

You are right about the play dough. Don't sweat the small stuff.

I love the clear saucers!!! And the bird feeder one of them has become! I saw somewhere, putting a mirror into the centre of a plate, and hanging it on the wall. Wonder what your saucers would look like that way...
When I was a kid, we had plasiticine, and it was gray, because my sisters had mixed all the colours together...

Hotrod's car play reminds me so much of our grandson's love for cars around that age. Sometimes its hard not to be a little OCD about kids (or their grandpas :-) ) mixing things up. I had to MAKE myself relax sometimes. :-)
