Smile Mommy.....

Say Cheese.....

Smile Oma...

I think I have a budding photographer...
maybe a future blogger....
We had my Mom's birthday party yesterday...
the weather was perfect...
in the 70's...slight breeze...beautiful sunshine..
I couldn't have ordered a better day...
Hubby made a yummy roast...
potatoes...carrots...pinto beans...
the hit of the day his hot water cornbread...
My SIL brought a cookie cake...
My son brought his guitar...
played and sang for us....
my niece and Hotrod had a ball...
I got some cute photos...
oh and we had balloons...the first thing on Hotrods list...
my nieces 2nd birthday is coming up....
I asked her what she wanted Aunt Deb to get her for her birthday...
she said balloons...
I asked her what else...
cake...
I think her and Hotrod think alike...
I asked her what present she would like....
she looked around at Hotrods toys....
she said a Car...
then she started naming off everything she saw....
I think she would be happy to just take all of Hotrods toys...
he was watching her closely when she left...
after playing with Hotrods sand....
they have decided she's getting a sand box...
Our birthday girl....
I am thankful for my family....

What a wonderful gathering!!!!!!

Ahhh, he has his own camera too. :-) But does he want to hold big-people cameras? -sigh- Next door, they let Gabe handle every techy item. I do NOT agree.

When taking Halloween pics, and Mommy was taking our pic, he had a tiny pout, over not holding Nana's cam. But a quick one. He came over and had his pic taken with me, and so.... For being so good, I let him hold my cam, for a split second. Then away with it.

My Rules, in my house. -grin-

What adorable pictures, someone is taking after his Oma. Hotrod and your niece have the right idea for sure. Balloons and cake make for great birthday celebrations. Hugs

Happy Birthday to your mom!

Pinto beans in a roast...interesting...I have never heard of that. It must be a Southern tradition. It sounds good to me as I like pinto beans.

I can see why you would be thankful for that wonderful family. It sounds like you all love each other very much. You are truly blessed.

Hey, I think balloons and cake are wonderful birthday presents! Is Hotrod's camera real? I've seen the children's digital cameras and I think they're great!
