Hi Deb, I'm not sure what they are, but we have something very similar growing along our fence (and so does Mom) The only difference is our berries are dark red. They are everywhere, and we've never had them before either! Kathy

They are polk berries. The leaves are used in salads and cooked like mustard greens.
