Ladybug from Texas for my blog...but for the one's
that do not....My grandmother Nana...always
reminded me of a ladybug...cheerful...happy...
a little round...so I always called her my ladybug...
she past away a few years ago...and I miss her terribly...
we had kindered spirits...she was 92 when she passed...
well whenever I see a ladybug....it makes me smile...
I feel like she is looking down on me....telling me
Debbie Doo....have a great day....today I've been
feeling out of sorts...kinda blue...I looked up and
this cute little ladybug was climbing around on my
window seal...I picked her up for a closer look
and took her photo....it made me smile...I know
Nana was telling me....it's okay....I love you....
Don't be blue....You know sometimes it just
takes a little something to remove the cloud....
Hope seeing my Ladybug will make you smile...
and when you see one at your place...you will
think of my Nana...and me...

Your ladybug and the story associated did make me smile. It's great when those who have passed from this life can still reach out and touch us through our memories.
So, so sweet.......
Wonderful story Debbie...remember the song about the ladybug?? My brother and I use to sing it as children...Hope you having a better day my friend...hugs and smiles Gl♥ria

What a sweet memory, Deb! I was so close to my Nanny, too. I miss her so.
Thought I'd come by and thank you for your comments about my farmhouse. I was so excited that Rhonda put me on her blog!
Looking forward to getting to know YOU and all our Texas gals better!
Awww...great memories are what get us through sometimes. Some days just seem harder than others, we have to look for things to make us smile on those yucky days.
Hugs,
Tara
What a sweet post Deb! I love the story and I do believe that your Nana is trying to pick up your spirits. Kathy
That is such a sweet tribute to your nana. Ladybugs are amazing little creatures. There is one particular ladybug that hangs out on the fourth floor window where I work. I love to watch it. We make note that it always there but in different spots.
By the way, you are my 50th follower!!!

I think it's January, Deb. I don't know why but it's always a "downer" month for me. Maybe a let down after the holidays? or undecking the halls? Glad the little ladybug came into your day! At least it's bright and sunny today! :)Nancy
Sweet story, Deb. I love how God gives us those little things to add some sunshine to our day...especially on those "blue" days. Blessings to you!
Thank you all...I feel much brighter today....
That's so sweet Deb
You're so lucky to have such warm and loving memories of your "ladybug"....I'm sorry you're feeling blue....
