Saturday Road Trip...

Saturday morning hubby and I got up and decided
to take a road trip....we didn't have a clue where
we were going...just jumped in the truck and took off
we ended up in Ardmore Oklahoma....

saw a sign for a Musuem...and went inside...
they even had tablescapes way back when...

Barber shop

printing press

a Doctor's office
this cabin was across from the museum...
they really had alot of history at this little museum...
I will share more this week....
after we left the musuem we went to
Lake Murray State Park for a picnic...
it was quite cold...but so pretty there...
will share the photos tomorrow....

Fun trip! We love Lake Murray. We had group camping trips there 3 different summers when I was in my 20's. We rented an entire camp with rustic cabins and there was a main lodge with an awesome kitchen and walk in deep freeze. We would come in from being on the lake all sunburned and hang out in the walk in freezer and have drinks. It was great fun!

What a fun trip and thanks for sharing the photos for me. It is so cold here so taking a tour in my bathrobe is a good thing:)

We need to take that same road trip!! Wouldn't be far from us. Is the museum right in town?

Be sure and pop over -- trying to do something with us Texans!

Hi Deb,
Don't you just love days like this, I love those depression dishes, and that cabin. Boy! we sure have come a long way.
