this is the sky I woke up to this morning....
had to grab my camera...

the sun was shining all day...
such a change from the last several day...

Little Britches and I spent some time outside...
soaking up the beautiful weather...

We had a real tradegy on Christmas Day...
in Grapevine...A Man dressed as Santa...
went to his soon to be Ex wifes apartment...
kills her...
their two children...
her sister...brother in law...and niece...
then himself...
My daughter went to school with the niece...
such a horrible loss...
she was 22 in pre-med...
her Mom and Dad were such nice people...
I've had such a heavy heart over this...
they had just opened all their Christmas gifts...
someone from inside called 911...
but didn't say anything...
the police knocked on the door..
when no one answered they went in...
found a horrible tradgedy....
Send a prayer up for this poor family

I am so sorry for your loss.
The violence is simply stunning...and leaves us feeling numb.

Such beauty in the morning sky and such wickedness in a human heart.

Oh, my mercy. How does a person get to a place they would take so many lives... especially the innocent children. I am so sorry, Deb. blessings ~ Tanna

it really is the worst of tragedies - inflicted by someone they knew and loved (at least at one point).

i love your skies.

I saw that story on the news, that was so terrible. This event has been on my mind ever since I read the story. Sorry for the loss of your friends. The family will be in my prayers.

Your photos are gorgeous.

so sorry to hear this and the sad thing is this has become common and there are so many stories like this they don't even put them on the news more. we had a tragedy here on Christmas night, 2 seniors in high school were killed in a wreck, their were 3 and the one that had on his seat belt had not a scratch, the othes died. i say this only to remind people to wear their seat belts.
