today I'm joining

These photos were taken at our
Night Light Flight  on WWII bomber experience...

It was sure a fun time...
it is raining here in Texas...
I know we need it....
but I sure hope it stops for our Christmas parade on Saturday...

the parade always kicks off my holiday spirit....
I'm so happy to have so many fun blogs to read...
each one getting me more and more in the spirit...
I had been wracking my brain for a easy craft to do...
this year for the nursing home....every year...
we try to make something and drop off...
this year..I was at a loss..then I read a post...
coffee filter angels...Thank you Linda...
if you haven't met Linda...please stop in...
she is from my area...she is such a sweetie...
she paints he most amazing painting...
makes quilts from old denim....
seeing her decorations will get you in the holiday spirit..

hope everyone has a wonderful weekend...
I need to get to work on my Angels...

grrrreat job on the fence shots today. and i did pop over to look at those angels, and her site puts the UMMPP in Christmas spirit with that one post. glad it is raining on TX and hoping it clears for the parade. a wonderful idea for the nursing home. i will tell the activities director at mine about this.

Nice. Sometimes, it is what is beyond the fence that makes it stand out!

It looks like those planes are well protected. The setting sun is a nice effect.

Deb, I like that first shot the best! Just the fence and the sunset, as if you could fence in a sunset...
Love the new header, too!
