Good Friday...

my green beans are coming up...
my tomato plants are getting tomatoes...
I'm feeling good about my garden this year...
we had a few leaves cut off...
thinking cut worms...hubby dusted with 7 dust..
I looked up natural ways to get rid of the cutworms...
I found cornmeal spread around the garden is suppose to work...
has anyone tried this method?
or have any other suggestions...
I would rather do things more natural...

these trees are blooming...
oh they smell so good...

my honeysuckle is blooming all over the yard...

my clothes line is awesome...
hubby is going to paint the stands black...
to match the fence...the lines are stainless steel...
so they will not rust...the stainless steel was left over from a job...

little britches and I did a few crafts...
first he made a birthday card for his Mommy...
that is why his hands are strangely colored...
then we made a Easter Egg card...
we tore up paper...he really enjoyed that part..

then we glued it to the egg...
a few to himself also...
glue sticks are the greatest...
not as messy as regular glue..
we bought sidewalk chalk today...
a new experience for Little Britches...
now he really got into drawing on the patio...
but he had more fun putting the chalk on Nolan...
Nolan had purple...pink...and green spots on him...
it is so easy to clean up...I think we got it all off of Nolan...
It really was a Good Friday...

It sounds like you had a wonderful Friday. Nolan might not had thought so but I'll bet he looked cute.

I've heard of the cornmeal but have never tried it, I like natural too whenever possible.

so poor Nolan is the Easter Pup today. Love your creative glasses. and the beans and tomatoes look wonderful. daddy used seven dust, never heard of corn meal. 7 is about the only thing he used on his garden.

Your honeysuckle brought back such good childhood memories of picking the blooms off and sucking the honey out of them!

What a fun craft to do! Those are memories in the making!
