little britches has 2 new favorite toys....
I found the frog when I was going through some things..
it was left over from a project my daughter did in middle school...
Pawpaw gave him the rat...
the rat is named Whitey
the frog is named Froggie...
little britches is enjoying the butterflies ...
trying to catch them...
he checks to see if the guys needs his help...
he likes running through the sheets on the line...
splashing in puddles...
feeling a rock under his toes...
simple things bring pleasure to kids...
they don't need fancy expensive toys...
just things to stimulate their minds...
stimulate their imaginations...
This makes me SMILE....

These photos are so adorable!!@!! I especially love the one of him with the frog hanging out of his overall pocket, and the one of him looking to see if 'the guys need his help". All too cute.

Makes me smile, too, Deb. Love that photo of his little hand reaching for the moth. Great shot!

Such cute pictures....all about a little boy being a boy.
these are all wonderful, priceless meories. love that hand shot. but all those jeans working on the truck and Rooster as assistant made me laugh out loud, long and loud and i put it on my desk top so i can show it to bob when he comes home. talk about priceless memory. LOVE IT there should be a joke here if i could think of it. start with how many jeans clad men does it take to....

Such sweet SWEET photos!! This is probably THE most precious time in his little life......the world unfolding before him. He is SUCH a blessed little boy to be spending his early impressionable days in such a manner. Your family is lucky to have YOU as you introduce Little Britches to the world - gently and wholesomely.
This post just touches my heart in a deep way! Wish every child could experience such a 'childhood.'
These pictures are just too cute.

Great photos! My fav is checking to see if the guys need help.
I actually remember playing in the sheets when my grandmother hung them up on the clothes line and that was a very long time ago.
