while driving through the state park...
hubby spotted something on his side...
I was driving....
hand me your camera...
so I did...with great reluctance...
can you see what he saw...
 a road runner....
look at how well it blends into it's surroundings...
Hubby took a lot...a lot...a lot of photos...
these are the best ones...
no I'm not in the least bit sad that it wasn't me...
really I'm not....

I just wish he could get such good shots of me...
when he takes my photo...
he just never seems to catch my good angles...
but put a bird in front of him...lol...
have my Hotrod back today...
haven't seen him since Friday...it seemed like forever...
we've had lots of hug festivals today...

The trick is to take those lots and lots of photos, I think. Husband is content with one...
I love the road runner, though!! So lucky to catch him!!!

I'm not sure I've ever seen a road runner in real life. But, man do they know how to blend in! I know you're glad to have Hot Rod back and I envy you the grandson hugs!

Happy New year!!!

How did he ever see that bird to even get those super shots of it. Did you stop or were you still driving when he took the pictures? Maybe he is practicing on the bird pictures leading up to those fantastic pictures he will take of his beautiful wife later. :) Hugs

LOL great catch and photo by the hubby.
You know when he takes pictures of you it's a matter of perception of whether it's a good angle or not but I do know what you mean. LOL
