Hubby has been busy with projects...
I don't know what has come over him...
but I'm not going to question it....
this is phase one of our new bar...
they cut it from a big piece of steel...
this is what my son was cutting on my last post...
Hubby added the dings in the top...
with a hammer...(very loud)...
it is bolted to the floor...
so it is not going any where...
will post more photos when phase 2 is complete...
we had a sleepover/movie night with Hotrod...
he refuses to wear PJ's...
but will where these sleep shorts until bed time...
he got a little bowl with...
jelly beans...M&M's...Malt balls...almonds...
and one Milkdud...
(small amounts...but he thought it was cool)
Hubby does not text...or email...
so I use the chalk board to leave him messages...
behind this chalk board is an electrical panel...
it was just a piece of wood on there...
not very attractive...
so Hubby painted it with chalk paint...
not it adds a little style...
gives me a place to write little notes...
Hotrod likes to add his own drawings to it...

i just watched HGTV makeover last night and they made her counter tops out of steel, per her request. the bar is looking good...

Love the chalk board and that bar is awesome, can't wait to see more of it. Sounds like a fun time with Hotrod!
Love that chalk board!! Your hubby most definately loves YOU!!! He knows to cover NOT pretty with PRETTY!!!
Love the bar -- lots of work involved, but I know it will last a lifetime!
