 It was a beautiful weekend....

the weather was perfect....

Thank you Mother Nature....

 

It was a busy weekend....

Saturday morning was spent doing house hold chores...

a quick trip to Lowes....

then off to the lake....

 

 back from the lake....

Hotrod came for a sleep over....

we cooked steaks on the grill...

my daughter joined us for dinner...

Hotrod loved that...

we even ate on the picnic table....

then Hubby and Daughter were off to perform their dance...

 

Hotrod and I had movie night....

we watched a Bernstein Bear marathon...

his new favorite...books and shows...

I like that there is always a lesson with every story...

he wanted jelly beans as his snack...

I added almonds to counter act the sugar...

Papaw was back in time for the last show...

every one slept in this morning...

7:20....that is sleeping in around here...

even Nolan slept in...

he is usually up bright and early...

looking to be fed....

Hotrod was picked up after breakfast...

I had time for a quick bath....

loaded up...headed to the lake...

with a change of clothes for Hubby and I...

then we headed to a funeral...

Hubbys Uncle's Ex wife...the mother of Hubby's cousins..

passed away unexpectedly...

she had just turned 70....

we were on the road a lot today...

the funeral was an hour away...

We had a late lunch...

Fajitas....a glass of Sangria for me...a beer for Hubby...

then home for a nice late afternoon nap....

a wonderful weekend....
