Dear Summer,
You slipped away too quickly....
we had great adventures with you...
sprinkle parks...running....skipping..hopping...
Sunday Family lake days...
swimming...fishing...picnics...
the petting zoo...
fishing with the girls...
painting...sidewalk chalk...cars and trucks...
crazy hats....
You've given us wonderful memories...
we will miss you so....
but I have photos galore to keep you fresh in our minds...
counting the days till you return again..
even though the calendar says Fall...
Texas still stays summer...
so I can hang on a while longer...
