Did you ever have one of those days???
you wake up...not feeling so good....
my sinus' were a mess...
stopped up...draining...ear pressure...
so I got up took some sinus medicine...
layed back down...
well Nolan was none to happy...
he kept barking at me...going to the door..
he is used to us going for our morning walk...

after a while the medicine kicked in...

but made me feel woozy....
not fun....
I took my Mom to the eye Dr. for her appointment...
while I was out my phone was going crazy...
lot's of business calls...
then I get a call from my daughter...
but she's not saying anything...I just hear rustling...
so of course as a Mom you think the worse...
call her back...no answer....
call again...she answers...
Nolan is having a seizure...
thank goodness my hubby had just pulled in...
so he helped out....gave him a little Karo syrup...
he recovered...we are having to adjust his insulin again...
he has had a few seizures this week...
not bad...and the Karo syrup works...
but I was away...and of course I thought the worse...
when I walk in...he jumps out of her lap...
back to normal...
so I get to work in the office...
I'm printing some papers I need...
my printer runs out of ink...
so I go to my other printer...
it's out...well I have some cartridges...
but not the color that is out...all the others though...
so I move on to another project...
because Hotrod is coming in the afternoon...
his Mommy has planned a special evening for my son...

Hotrod and DIL get here...
I get a phone call from my son...
he says I need you to call #$^% wrecker service....
my first thought is he was in a wreck...
no...thank you lord...a belt broke on his truck...
and it won't move...he had called wrecker service...
they took his info...put him on hold...never came back...
each time he called he was put on hold...
so he didn't know if they were coming or not...
so I started calling them...put on hold...
finally speak to someone...it will be 2 to 3 hours...
so I start calling around...no one could get there any faster...
finally got someone...could be there in 30 minutes...
so excited...he had a good rate too...told him location...
told him make and model of truck...
nope he couldn't pick it up...the truck is too big...
so I call the first company....by this time...
they said it would be about 45 minutes...
so I call son to let him know...
well 45minutes pass...no wrecker...
it is too hot to sit in truck...so son is sitting at Walgreens...
next to the wall in the shade...sweatie...dirty from work...
people are looking at him like he is a homeless person...
I call wrecker service again....I'm not showing that pickup...
I'm thinking you've got to be kidding me...
she says oh your wanting so and so wrecker service...
evidently they handle several services...
so she finds it...the wrecker is in route...
DIL leaves to go get to work on the special dinner she is cooking... I start closing my office...
so Hotrod and I can have fun...
son texts me...that the wrecker service showed up....
with an wrecker for an 18 wheeler...
$$$ signs start floating in my head...
the driver says it is the same price as a flatbed...
whooo....that was scarey....
It takes them forever to get here....
when they pull up...hubby says...
that's probably gonna be $600....in my head I panic...
Hotrod is really excited about the big wrecker....
pulling his Daddy's big truck....
The tow was under $200.00....what a relieve...
so Son took Hubbys truck...
went home for his date with DIL...
Hotrod spent the night with us...
we went out to dinner...he had a blast...
it made all the trials and tribulations of my day melt away...
it amazes me how one little Hotrod can save a horrible day...
today has been much better...
so how's your day????

What a day you had sweet Deb. But what a wonderful way to end that day with dinner and a sweet, adorable little Hotrod in tow. Sure happy the syrup worked and sweet Nolan is okay. Glad everything was taken care of too. Hugs

The little ones do help us keep a perspective on what really matters, don't they?

WHAT - A - DAY - YOU - HAD!!!

Must have been 'in the stars,' cause my Sat. was messed up also.

Being kind of sick all day, was my OWN fault. Last week I had over-done on certain foods. Can have them, in moderation. Not in 'over-drive'. I paid.

Horrible storm system came through up here, but without any damage to us. Still waiting to hear from other bloggers, who were in the path of this messy weather, though. -sigh-

Holy cow! I hate days like that. Glad you survived. It must have been hard not climbing back in bed at some point and just pull the covers over your head.
