My Mom got a cute new hairdo...
she wanted to go short...
I really like it...
she also got new glasses...
I can't wait to see how they look with the new do...
she just picked them up today...
I was there when she picked them out...
the girl at the store tried to get her to try a different pair...
probably more expensive...
but we both agreed on the same ones..
Here is Hotrods master piece he painted last week...
I found the board in some junk someone set out for the trash...
he painted it...then I nailed a hanger on the back...
now we have art work...
for Fort Hotrod...
This is his little Fort inside his room...
we have blankets and pillows in there...
I have a feeling when he's older...
it will make a good sleeping spot...

the hat in the middle we used at his baby shower...
we had a Wild West theme...
just the perfect size for a growing boy...
just thought I would show you a cool piece of art...
it's under the over pass on a local highway...
an artist did all this...took him quite a while...
the other side of the road is also painted...
I had to share this little water/sand table....
I found it at Walgreens today for $5.00...
it was regularly $20.00...
now is the time to stock up on summer items...
Hotrod sure approved...
we got the ring toss for $3.00....
great eye hand cordination....
evidently they make good hats too...

forgot to comment on the paintings. i have seen people buying paintings that were no nearly as good as HR's. and that under the steps little house is perfect and a super idea.

Your mom's new do looks great. Ya know HotRod's art work could be some stiff competition for those art gallery artist.
I don't know how you do it..you always capture a shot where his face is hidden.
Every time I see his little face hidden I chuckle because I think of Mr Wilson off Tool time with Tim Allen.
