when I was out for my walk I noticed a lot of signs....
now these folks really don't want tresspassers...
I wonder what happened to make them hang this sign??
now these folks mean business....
isn't it ashame you have to post this...
because someone might sue you....
I mean who in their right mind doesn't know...
going fast over speed bumps can cause damage...
graffiti....definitely not art here...
hmmm...and this isn't even a farm...
now here's a change...Welcome...
hunting or trespassing....
you don't see that very often....
now this can be a double edged sword...
you let people know to be aware...
but then if your dog bites someone...
they can say you knew you had a dangerous dog...
so do you hang the sign...or not.....
Do you ever wonder what makes people hang signs???

-chuckle- Good post! Many ways!
And I notice that one house, has Halloween decorations by the door, already. Good for them! The 2nd pic.. The one with "Smile, you're on camera" sign.
And the need for us to consider liability issues today, gives one pause. -sigh- So true. What home owner's rights do we have, after the do-good-ers and anxious-lawyers get done with us????????????
"Auntie"
There are a couple of places around here with beware of dog signs - not because the dog is vicious, but because he will take off if he can out the gate...
i hate that folks have been broken into and stolen from (or worse) that they have to post so many at their homes.
I know a couple of people that have a Beware of Dog sign that don't even have a dog.
Very interesting post... made me smile!!
thought provoking question, Deb. To post a sign ... or not to post.... I like the "smile you're on camera sign... :)
I'm thinking that people who post signs have had it in one way or another. OR they actually think it will work. Unfortunately, if someone has mischief on their mind, a sign doesn't mean a thing. It just makes the community look unfriendly.
That's a lot of signs you have seen. Kinda sad in many ways.
