I actually beat my DIL and Hotrod to the park ....
she said between 9-9:15....usually that means...
she will be there at 10 till 9...I will be there 9:15...
but I got there at exactly 9....
I played with my camera a bit...
and my props...checking out the lighting...
and the shadows....
( my Dad redid this tricycle for Hotrod)

(it's an oldie but goody)

these are the tracks to no where...
there is a caboose at the other end of these tracks...

I have found I get the best shots of Hotrod...
if I just let him do his thing...
and snap....
he decided he didn't like the 3 in front of the tree...
so he knocked it over...
he would play peek a boo from around the tree..
then come running to me...

he remembered from last year...
that he wore his Mommies sunglasses when we took
shots here...so we let him do his thing....
he ran....and ran...and ran....

jumped in to Mommies arms...

and ran some more....
oh wouldn't it be great to have all that energy again...

Grrrrrrrreat photos!!!!

Yes, with a little one, it's best to let 'em do their own thing... And the photographer just tag-alone. :-)

Btw, the second from last pic of Hotrod and Mommy..... It's so cute. And it is simply stunning of her. One of those shots, which you couldn't plan. For sure. But it is just lovely of her.

Me'thinks that should be printed and framed. For someone. :-)

Oh, so precious! What a fun photo shoot. In order to get a few pictures that are good, I put my camera on sports and just click away.

Love the tricycle. I just brought two miniature ones homes that Hallmark use to make. I had given them to my dad years ago and he wanted me to have them. I will post them someday. The photos of Hotrod are precious....way to go!
