 Happy Easter everyone...
I hope your day was nice....
we had an awesome family weekend...
the blue bonnets are in full bloom here in TEXAS....
on the way back home today...
we saw families pulled over on the side of the highway...
taking family photos in the blue bonnets...
Do other states do this?
 these were at the lake...
This was family reunion weekend for Hubbies family...
cousins that have not seen each other in years...
there is one Patriarch left...Uncle Joe...
the last of the 4 siblings...
lots of youngsters...Hotrod was in heaven...

It was nice meeting new family members...
some of us have been face book friends for a while...
we actually got to see each other face to face...
talk in person...
Hubby had a blast remembering old times...

we had it at one of our favorite places...
Cliff View Resort...

getting a group this big together...
is quite a task...but so worth it...

dogs included...

a wagon full of cousins...
not sure how it's officially labeled...
second cousins...first cousins twice removed...
the kiddos just liked being cousins...
so that's way we called them...

What a fun weekend!!! And what memories for everyone!! And those Blue bonnets... I wanted so so bad to go to Texas to see them...but we chose to wait... I'm so sad...don't know if I'll ever make it there in the spring now:(

that is one very very large family, and you got everyone in one photo including the dogs. great shot.
the blue bonnets amaze me. i have never seen a field of flowers, but if i did i would stop and take photos of them or family in them. we used to go to the park in Savannah and take Easter pics with the azaleas.

We are all just cousins too. We don't refer to each other in numbers, just cousins. Family is family in my book. What a large crowd. That photo will be cherished throughout the years I'm sure.

Love your wild flowers. We don't have many here this year since we are in the 3rd year of a drought. Our California Poppies are doing pretty good though.

LOVE the group photos!!! That is awesome and I'm sure such a memorable day.

Here in our part of Texas the Bluebonnets have bloomed long ago. Wishin' we had 'em here for the Easter holiday. But, nope.
