there is something magical about watching a sail boat...
I've never been on one....
but love to watch them on the water...
it was fun watching him getting his boat on to the lake...
the whole time I had this song in my head...

I agree with you and I have never been on one either.
Looks very peaceful, but I'm sure there is much work involved, in having a calm sail.
Our son in law graduated from Mass. Maritime Academy and has sailed a lot. He and his bro used to bring boats (owned by rich people) back and forth, from down south to up north, for winter mooring, etc. He has some lovely tales to tell. And some scarey ones too.
But that would be way too scary for me.

That looks so relaxing. I would love to go sailing.
Lovely post! I miss seeing the sailboats and other boats we used to see all the time because we were living on the coast in Tidewater, Va. It's such a peaceful sight and renews the spirit, that's for sure.
