Today I'm joining Black and White Weekend
it is amazing how a photo changes...
when you take out all the color...

I love looking at black and white photos...
especially old family photos....
I remember being so excited as a kid with color photos...
and when we got our first colored tv...
now I get just as excited for black and white..

no big plans for the weekend...
it is going to be cold...
guess the ground hog was right...
I am dreaming of sun on my face...
walking around barefoot...
digging in the dirt...
how about you.... any big plans?
any dreams of sunshine or dirt?

I love your B/W shots. When you take away the color it lets the eye see all the details.

Not too cold here this weekend but it looks like more rain and fog for us. I would really like to see the sun again.

Very, very nice black and whites sweet Deb. It is in the 20's here today and snow and ice are supposed to be headed our way. I too am looking forward to getting out and digging in the dirt...want to get those beautiful morning glory seeds in the ground. I love spring. Hugs

We've had such a mild Winter, I can't complain! We were supposed to get 2-5" of snow today--had some flurries, ground got covered, temp went up, melted it all!

Starlings are colourful birds, but this one looks good in black and white. Seems like he owns the world!

Used to watch some old movies with the girls, but they claimed they couldn't understand them in b/w. But then we found the Roy Rogers movies, and they could understand the action. After the movie, we always had to take the cow (actually, a very patient dog) for a cattle drive (I mean walk).
