Hotrod and I are ready to go fishing....
he was talking about the lake yesterday...
we had such a good time on our Sunday Family lake days...

this year he will be big enough to fish...
atleast for a few minutes at a time...
this is the perfect place to do it...
it is a perch pond...
full of perch...

I think that kids that are taught to fish...hunt...
garden...will be way ahead...
of the kiddos that can only play video games...

the more time spent outdoors...
the more they appreciate the world around us...
dreaming of warmer days...
spent with my family at the lake...

OH YES!!!! Lucky the child who is taught all those out-of-doors activities!!!!!

Not only does it get him/her out-of-doors, he/she learns how to do these activities in the correct way. Taught by loving family.

LUCKY!!!!!!!!!!

i agree, keep him outside as much as possible, he will like fishing and cars because your family does... daddy tried to teach me to fish, I just did not like it. it looks like it hurts the fish when it gets the hook. also i did not like eating fish until i married bob and he introduced me to BIG fish filets with no bones. yum.

Totally agree ... reminds me of the Trace Adkins song "She thinks we're just fishin' " - the memories and relationships built during these activities are priceless.

I think kids who spend time outside, doing things, are more observant of nature, more likely to see things, than the kids who play video games.
Does Hotrod point out stuff for you to photograph?
