It was a fun night at the Rodeo...
it was all Bull riding...
now that is one tough sport...
only one rider was injured....
some stayed on the 8 seconds...
some barely made it out of the shoot...
one bull tried to jump over the side of the shoot...
he ended up breaking loose...
the rider managed to escape with out injury...
I was having a little fun with Hubby....
they were playing a song we used to dance to when we were dating...
Hotrod loved when the bulls would run down our way...
He would wave...say Hello Bull...
the had a blast...
got to eat popcorn....shell peanuts....
flirt with pretty girls...
we were at the far end from the actual riding...
so I used my long lens...
you can see the dirt flying...
everyone but the Hubby really enjoyed it all...
he was thinking is was a Rodeo with all the events...
he forgot to listen when I told him it was Bull riding...

i like that black and white bull. nice shot. and i can tell hubby is not to happy... to me riding a bull or a horse is the same, they both buck and throw people on the ground... go figure on why anyone wants to do it.
Great shots. Bull riding is a tough sport. One of my sons-in-law does calf roping....I am glad he is not a bull rider.
Great shots of the rodeo. You are helping Hotrod make some great memories!
As far as I'm concerned, bull riding is all of the events. :) Great shots Deb!
Such great pictures! I felt as I were there! I can only remember going to the rodeo maybe TWICE! I need to take Louis Dean someday!
You did capture some awesome shots!
That is a very hard sport. Glad you had a nice time.
I love these shots! We have rodeo and just bull riding too. I wouldn't be caught dead or alive on a bull's back. Those cowboys are cute but absolutely nuts!!!!
Did Josh Cole ride? He's a bull rider from Longview, marrying my niece in April. He's a tough guy and a sweetheart.
I wonder if the bulls think it is a game of skill, the way the riders do, or if it is just some sort of torment...
Great rodeo shots. Now I am really missing late summer here in the heartland.
