Sunflowers always make me smile...
they seem to have smiling faces....
looking up to the sky....
they reach towards the sun...
never considered an elegant flower...
some think they are a pest...
I think they are grand...they serve a great purpose...
beauty and food...
not only for us...but for the animals as well...
what would baseball players do without their seeds???

just received word that our friends Mom just passed...
Rest in Peace Mrs. Hawkins....
she ran a daycare at home for years...
she shaped a lot of children's lives...
