Sometimes beauty is mixed in with the ordinary...
What makes us decide what is beautiful and what is not?
Why does one person see beauty in something that others do not?
I hear a lot of people talking about their gray hair...wrinkles...lack of hair etc....
Not thinking there is any beauty in them...
But when I look at them I see their beauty...not inspite of these things but because of these things....but it is totally different when I'm looking into my mirror..so I'm trying to look at these things in myself with the same eyes I have for others....looking back at old photos of myself I wonder why did I feel so unatractive? Why did I feel so awkward? Why didn't I see what others tell me they saw? I think we all need to see the beauty in ourselves...it's a work in progress.....

Lovely pictures. Yes I do agree that beauty is there all around us.We just have to look for it - in ourselves, in other people and in everything surrounding us !
i see beauty in Man and his dog photo.. love it. and you are so right. i grew up thinking i was fat and ugly and when i look back i do not see what i saw in my mirror... and now i look and see i truly am fat and not so pretty LOL
we are so hard on ourselves. always.
