Hotrod wanted to paint his house...
there has been a lot of talk about painting at his house...
(the new place....which he already knows the address)
so I said sure....
and we got some paint (water) and a paint brush...
he went to town painting his house....
he was very serious about his painting...
he spent a good 45 minutes working on it...
making sure to get it all covered...

we have been working on potty training...
he is doing really good...
he's finally liking his big boy underwear...
Oma finally found some he likes....
what better way to cool off...after all that painting....
we are trying to eat healthier around here...
less processed food...and more fresh...
today I made Hotrod a treat....
I cut up a banana into big chunks...
put them on Popsicle sticks...
I got fat free vanilla yogurt...I stirred in a bit of
cocoa ....dipped the bananas in it...
put on wax paper...then in the freezer...
when he got up from his nap...
he had a Popsicle....he loved it...
and it was healthy to boot...
you can add sprinkles or nuts before you freeze too...
we also love frozen grapes...

What a sweet, sweet post! He reminds me of my grandson Bodhi! There is something special about little grandsons. I have three little granddaughters, but my only boy Bodhi, is all boy. He kind of tugs at my heart, you know?

Take care,
Sue

Oh my GOSH!!! What a darling lil' guy you have there! I am so loving being a Grandparent, my son and Daughter in law have twin boys ( they are 5mo) and I can't get enough of them!! We do boys around here, so it was fitting that our son had boys as well.

Love, love, love those photos!

What a great idea! Painting with water, I'll have to remember that.
He is a smart little boy to know his address already! He's a cutie. He is one lucky little boy to have you as his Grandma.

Oh gracious! Potty training is going on here too! Well, next door with Gabe, it is. After a "super" day, they come over to tell us about it. -grinnnnn-

Big steps!!!!

He got a kick out of Nana telling about *trying* to use the wee little potty seat, in the library. Wellll, not really trying to use it. Just opening the "other stall door" and seeing that she could NOT use it.

Stories like that, are soooooooo funnnnnnnny to little guys. :-)

Looks like Hotrod had fun painting and how refeshing that picture looks! Glad your eating healthier. I'm so glad I've changed my eating habits and I don't miss the junk at all. I love to stir a little peanut butter into my Greek yogurt....it's yummy!

I remember the days of potty training my older daughter. I would have just left it till I was potty training the second (only 4 years later), but she was a stubborn child and didn't see the point of using the toilet...
And now I can start getting caught up on the posts I have missed...

The thought of handling water today makes me shiver -- it's cool and rainy here today. The banana/yogurt treats sound great!
